Lexis was devised originally in 1997. I spent three intense and hectic months working on this model as a way of integrating my understanding of the world, using keywords and a layout whose origins lay in Jung's typology. I had intended running it as two year course. In the end I decided it was too complex and at a meeting of a dozen therapists I had called to discuss it, most people seemed utterly baffled! I decided if they couldn't follow the ideas, then there was little chance anyone else would. Nevertheless I think it is an elegant model which attempts to combine a variety of different world views.
